This a Poster that has been presented in Enterprise Ireland ICT Showcase 2008.

It summarizes the technology being developed in SUMAC (an EI-funded project) with both its technological innovations and commercial aspects.

The objective of this project is to render WSN as easy to use as possible, by making them easy to deploy, easy to operate, and easy to leverage without requiring particular technical skills.

The approach we take is based on a pay-as-you go service delivered to customers, and a do-it-yourself network deployement. The network equipments are configured and sent to the customer that deploy them based on his needs. Many tools will be available to help the costumer dimensioning and calibrating his network.
All sensed data are stored in a professional 3rd party hosting service, and accessible any time, anywhere from a highly intuitive Web portal.
